After I left the SEAL Teams, I thought I’d crush it in civilian life.
I sold million-dollar real estate.
I traveled the world teaching fitness.
I played college football in my 30s.
On paper, I was winning.
But the truth?
I was drifting.
Waking up late.
Cutting corners.
Saying “tomorrow” more than I said “done.”
I wasn’t failing. But I also wasn’t leading.

One night I stayed up late watching mindless videos.
